The eponymous resort of Limenas Chersonisou, also known as Chersonissos or Hersonissos belongs to the big holiday resort of Chersonisou-Stalis-Malia which is considered to be the liveliest and most popular holiday resort of Crete. Except the big number of various accommodation places, shops, tavernas or music clubs the resort offers its visitors long sandy and pebbly beaches.

In the whole region of Hersonissos, we can count around 10 beaches.
