Keratokambos beach stretches along the coastline around two neighbouring seaside villages of Kastri and Keratokambos, which over time and the development of tourism have merged into one tourist resort. Keratokambos is a long beach and stretches from the village eastwards to the Keratokambitis river. However, it is not completely continuous, as it is interrupted in places by rocky outcrops, roads extending to the coast, etc. There is also a small harbour in the area bearing the identical name of Keratokambos.

The surface of the beach is a mixture of sand and pebbles, and here and there you can find parts of the beach that are completely sandy. Near the villages of Kastri and Keratokambos, the beach is partly organized, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas as well as refreshment stands. Further towards the resorts, you will find other nice tavernas renowned for preparing dishes made from fresh sea catch. The further we proceed along the beach towards the east, the quieter and more deserted it will become. At the eastern end of the beach, hidden behind a wall of sand dunes, lies a tiny and isolated beach.

The shores are washed by crystal clear sea, but the seabed in this area can be a little dangerous at times, as small rocks hide under the water here and there. On the other hand, this combination is ideal for snorkelling and diving. In periods of strong winds, you can experience really big waves, as the coastline is very open towards the sea.

To the east along the coast lies the small village of Kapsali with the beautiful sandy beach of Monompouka Beach, which is also popular with families with smaller children due to its gradual entry into the sea. Small tamarisk trees provide some natural shade.
