Limnoupolis Water Park is located about 8 km southwest of Chania, near the small village of Varipetro, and is quite well hidden. But when you get there, you'll find a vast theme park with plenty of water rides for the youngest children to the most adventurous adults.

You can try the children's pool with shallow water and lots of colourful play elements, slides and climbing frames, and for older children there is the so-called "Tarzan's Trail" - a rope trail in the water. There are 11 different types of slides and water slides in the area - a "black hole" slide, intertwining and transparent slides, 60-metre long colourful slides and a fast "kamikaze" slide. The 130-metre long "lazy river", which is surrounded by a beautiful green environment with caves and waterfalls, is perhaps the most popular of all the attractions here.

A lifeguard is available at each water attraction to ensure the safety of visitors. The park also has good tourist facilities in the form of sun loungers and umbrellas, toilet facilities, shops and several restaurants and bars.
