The Water City Aquatic Centre is situated on a huge area in the hills off the northern coast of the island and offers its visitors a nice view of the sea. But the main reason tourists head here is, of course, the many water attractions and other play features - several beautiful pools including wading pools with slides and attractions for the youngest children, a pool with artificial waves and a large pool for swimming and relaxing, more than 15 water slides (from slow slides for children, through long slides and slides with a "black hole" to the dreaded "kamikaze" slide), a "jacuzzi" whirlpool, a "lazy river" and, for example, a "Tarzan trail". There is salt water in the pools and on the slides.

The water park has good tourist facilities. There are sun loungers and parasols available for visitors, refreshments are provided by several bars and restaurants and if you forget, for example, your swimsuit, sun cream or inflatable sleeves, you can buy everything you need at the local mini-market. There is also a souvenir shop and a beauty salon. Lifeguards are on hand to ensure the safety of visitors.

You can either buy tickets directly at the water park ticket office or order them in advance online (they are usually at a discount). Each visitor receives a wristband on entry - blue for adults and yellow for children. This is then loaded with all your spending money, so there is no need to carry any cash, everything is paid on departure. You can keep your valuables in the lockers. The colour of the belt also plays a role at water attractions, as children with yellow belts are not allowed on some slides and thrill rides.
