Eurynomé

In Greek mythology, Eurynome is a goddess who ruled the world together with Ophion. Then they were both overthrown by Kronos and Rhea in Tartarus.

According to the Pelasgian myth of the creation of the world, Eurynome arose naked from Chaos. After her birth, Eurynome could not find support for her feet, so she parted the sea from the sky and danced on its waves. As she danced, a strong wind began to rise and the world itself was formed. By rubbing her hands together, she created Ophion from this wind. It then began to wrap around her and eventually merged with her. From this union, the egg of the universe was formed. Eurynome turned into a dove and hatched this egg. She then commanded Ophion to wrap it around her. Only then did the egg burst and all things (sun, moon, planets, stars, plants, animals, etc...) hatched from it. The two then settled on Olympus, where they ruled together.

Other sources claim that Eurynome was the daughter of Okenaos. According to others, Okenaos was the son of Eurynome and Ophion.
