Greek gods - others
In Greek mythology, Diké is the goddess of justice, depicted as a young woman holding scales in one hand and a sword in the other. She was the daughter of the Titaness Themis and Zeus.
The first mention of Dike can be found in the works of Hesiod. Sometimes Diké is confused with Themis. Diké, along with Themis, stood by Zeus when he sat on his throne to perform his judicial function. She sued for every injustice, protecting peace and justice.
She had one daughter named Hesychia (Silence). Her sisters were named Eunomia (Lawfulness) and Eiréné (Peace).
