Greek gods - others
In Greek mythology we know Moirae as the goddess of fate and life destiny. They are either daughters of Ananke (the goddess of fateful necessity) or of Zeus and the goddess Themis.
There were three Moirae, namely Klóthó (Spinning - starts the thread), Lachesis (Granting - continues spinning the thread) and Atropos (Irreversible - cuts the thread).
According to the older myths, the supreme god Zeus is also subject to them, and even he does not dare to oppose them. More recent myths state that Zeus can change their decisions and can avert the cutting of the thread of life.
The Moirae are said to know all the secrets and watch over them rather than determining the fate of men.
