Strato of Lampsacus was a Greek philosopher who was also a physicist. He was born in 340 BC (Lampsacus) and died in 268 BC.
Strato of Lampsacus was a peripatetic who developed Aristotle's materialistic ideas.
In 287 BC, he became the third director of the Lyceum. This was after the death of Theophrastus.
