Greek writers
Kyprias of Halicarnassus was a Greek writer and poet. He was born in the 6th century BC (Halikarnassus - today's Bodrum in Turkey).
Some sources list Kyprias of Halicarnassus as the author of the epic poem Kypria. This poem dealt with the Trojan War, but was of much lesser quality compared to Ilias (a related work). Plot-wise, it describes the period from the feud of the three goddesses to the first years of the war. Only fifty lines of the work survive, which were written in Dactylic hexameter.
