Camel Beach is located on the southern coast of Kos, near the popular resort of Kefalos, and is one of the most popular beaches in the area. The surface of Camel beach is made up of fine sand mixed with silty pebbles. The water in this bay is calm, clear and under the sun's rays it takes on a beautiful blue hue. Thanks to its sheltered position in the bay, the beach is suitable for families with children and for those who want calmer conditions for swimming or snorkelling. The rocky cliffs surrounding the beach add to Camel's charm and provide a degree of privacy and protection from the wind.

Camel Beach is one of the smaller and quieter beaches on the island, but it is well organised.
