Cavo Paradiso Beach - Kos Island

Cavo Paradiso

The secluded, beautiful natural sandy beach of Cavo Paradiso is located on the south-western tip of the Greek island of Kos, about 50 km from the main town of Kos.

Cavo Paradiso Beach, one of the most remote beaches on the island of Kos, is located on the southwest coast of the island, on the Kefalos peninsula. Cavo Paradiso is also a very pleasant beach, which is particularly popular for its tranquillity and the beauty of its unspoilt nature.

The surface of the beach consists of fine sand, in some places supplemented by larger washed-up pebbles. The water here is crystal clear and often calm, ideal for relaxing swimming and snorkelling. With its natural surroundings and spectacular views of the open sea, the beach offers a unique sense of seclusion from the busy holiday resorts in other parts of the island.

Tourist facilities on Cavo Paradiso are limited. During the main summer season there is a beach bar with refreshments, which also provides a few sunbeds and umbrellas. Outside the main tourist season, we recommend that you bring your own supplies, including water and food, if you are planning a longer stay. The nearest tourist resorts of Kefalos or Kamari are about 10 km away.

Due to its remoteness and more difficult access by unpaved road, Cavo Paradiso is especially popular with those who want to avoid the crowds. The beach is ideal for relaxing and offers a spectacular view of the sunset. Cavo Paradiso is a place that remains one of the few natural paradises on Kos, great for lovers of silence and wild scenery.
