Lagades, also known as Lagada Beach, is a long, quiet and secluded beach located on the southern coast of Kos, about 6 km from the popular resort of Kefalos. Lagades Beach is situated in a picturesque bay with a beautiful view of the sea, surrounded by natural rock formations and greenery.

The surface of Lagades beach is made up of fine sand, with small pebbles in places, offering comfortable conditions for sunbathing and a pleasant entrance to the sea. The water is crystal clear and shallow, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The combination of fine sand and clear turquoise water attracts especially couples and families with children to the beach.

The tourist facilities at Lagades are basic, which adds to its natural charm. Sun loungers and umbrellas are placed on the beach for the comfort of visitors, and there are two beach tavernas nearby offering Greek cuisine and delicious fish specialities. The beach thus suits those who prefer a simpler stay in a natural environment.

Lagades is situated at the turn off the main road connecting the capital of Kos and the resort of Kefalos. The road from the main road is unpaved but passable, and there is a small car park at one of the tavernas. From the main road, there are several branches off the main road to the south coast, marked with the names of the beaches - from west to east there are Agios Stefanos, Camel, Paradise, Lagades, Markos, Psilos Gremos, Magic, Exotic and Chryssi Akti. The fine sandy beach of Lagades is one of the quieter and less busy ones, and is the ideal place to relax by the water.
