Markos Beach is located on the south coast of Kos, about 7 km from the popular resort of Kefalos, in a quiet tourist area of several other smaller beaches. Due to its good accessibility, Markos Beach is easily reachable by car, lying on the turn-off from the main road connecting the capital of Kos and the resort of Kefalos. Extra caution is advised after leaving the main road, the road is unpaved and steeper but passable. From the main road, there are a number of turn-offs in this area to the south coast, marked by the names of the beaches - from west to east there are Agios Stefanos, Camel, Paradise, Lagades, Markos, Psilos Gremos, Magic, Exotic and Chryssi Akti.
