In Greek mythology, Geryon is a giant with three bodies. He was the son of Chrysaor and Kallirhoé (daughter of the Titan Okean).
Geryon had large and magnificent herds of cattle in his possession, which were guarded by the giant Eurytion and the two-headed dog Orthos. But the hero Herakles was tasked with taking these herds to Mycenae. The guards bravely resisted him, but the hero slew them both, including Geryon, and then took the herds with him.
