The quiet, almost deserted Cape Columbo Beach (or Columbo Beach) is located in the northern part of the Greek island of Santorini, about 9 km north of the capital Fira.
One of the most isolated beaches on Santorini, but something special and beautiful. It's surrounded by big red cliffs, green untouched nature and often has big waves. The beach is quite long and its surface is mostly dark grey sand with pebbles. The beach is not organized, nor is it equipped with sunbeds and restaurants.
Cape Columbo is located in the very north of the island, close to one of the most beautiful Santorinian towns, Oia. You can't get directly to the beach by car, you can park at the edge and then just walk down the narrow road. By its nature, the beach also attracts many nudists.
