Bouka Beach (sometimes also spelled Mbouka or Boukas) is located in a small, quiet bay on the east coast of the island and is adjacent to the very popular holiday resort of Tsilivi (or Planos). Unlike the main beach of the resort - the long, busy and well-organised Tsilivi beach, Bouka beach is on the contrary a small beach and very quiet. Tsilivi and Bouka beaches are separated by a small hill.

The beach is covered with fine sand (with some pebbles in some places) that slopes gently into the sea. When entering the sea, be careful of the occasional protruding rocks and rocky parts. The sea is clear blue in this area and the beach has also been awarded the EU Blue Flag for its cleanliness and facilities.

Bouka is one of the organised beaches, visitors can rent sunbeds and umbrellas and there are several nice beach bars, tavernas and snack stalls near the beach. The beach is really narrow in some places and renting sunbeds seems to be a necessity. However, if you walk a little further from the central part of the beach, you can even lay out your towels on the sand. At the northern end of the beach there is a small harbour for fishing boats.

Bouka beach is not crowded and visitors appreciate its cleanliness and tranquillity. There are no water sports here. Families with small children also like the beach, which is also very gently shelving and warm water in the bay.

Other tourist services, including accommodation, are available in the nearby holiday resort of Tsilivi. The Tsilivi Waterpark is also nearby, with plenty of water thrill rides.
