Porto Kaminia beach is located on the southeast coast of Zakynthos, between the two larger tourist resorts of Argassi and Vassilikos. Porto Kaminia is a small and very pleasant beach covered with fine sand. The beach is rather narrow but very quiet and does not feel crowded even in the main tourist season. The surrounding greenery provides visitors with desirable shade and the gradual entrance to the sea also attracts families with children and non-swimmers.

Porto Kaminia beach is adjacent to the smaller tourist resort of Xirokastello, whose accommodation is more of a mix of mid-range hotels and apartments. There are only a few bars and tavernas in the immediate vicinity of the beach, but they are very positively rated. One popular taverna has chairs and tables right on the beach. Porto Kaminia beach also has the added bonus of free sunbeds and umbrellas.

Porto Kaminia is one of the quiet beaches, there are no water sports.

At the northern end, Porto Kaminia beach is adjacent to the popular and very well organised Argassi beach, where visitors can also try out various water sports and other fun activities. In the south, Porto Kaminia beach is then connected to other smaller beaches such as Porto Zoro beach and Spanzia beach.
