Porto Zoro beach is located on the southeast coast of Zakynthos, between the two larger tourist resorts of Argassi and Vassilikos. Porto Zoro beach is rather narrow but long and covered with beautiful golden sand all along its length. The sand continues along the seabed, and walking in the sea is so pleasant on the feet. Together with the gradual entry into the water, it is also an ideal combination for families with smaller children.

Porto Zoro beach is known for its unusual rocky blocks and larger stones that are found in the sea near the shore and create very interesting images in contrast to the azure waters here. The picturesque nature of the beach is also enhanced by the surrounding dense vegetation. Porto Zoro is rated as one of the most beautiful and best organised beaches in the south-eastern part of Zakynthos.

Porto Zoro beach is adjacent to the smaller tourist resort of Xirokastello and is dominated by one larger hotel complex, which includes a green and carefully maintained garden right next to the beach. A few more individual apartments can be found around the beach.

Porto Zoro is one of the organised beaches with good tourist facilities in the form of sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets and showers. The beach has a well-known bar and restaurant, Porto Azzuro Beach Bar & Restaurant, after which the beach is sometimes called Porto Azzuro Beach. Nevertheless, the beach is quiet and even in the main tourist season it is not crowded. There are no water sports.

Most of the visitors to the beach are clients of the local accommodation facilities, but the beach can also be easily reached by car - there is a turn-off from the main road between Argassi and Vassilikos down to Porto Zoro beach and a small car park above the beach.

Porto Zoro beach is surrounded by other smaller and similar beaches, such as Porto Kaminia beach to the north and Spanzia or Banana beach to the south. If you want to try out various water sports and other fun activities, you can visit the neighbouring Spanzia beach or the nearby Argassi beach (located about 7 km to the north at Argassi).
