Spanzia Beach, or also Spianza or Spiantza Beach, is located on the southeastern coast of Zakynthos, in the area of Ano Vassilikos, which forms part of the popular tourist resort of Vassilikos. Spanzia Beach is one of the largest beaches on the island of Zakynthos.

The beach is covered with a mixture of fine sand and small pebbles and is washed by crystal clear and calm sea. Like other beaches in the area, Spiantza Beach is surrounded by lush and dense greenery.

Spanzia beach is well organised, with several beach bars and cafes along the beach, in addition to the necessary sunbeds, umbrellas and toilets. There is also a water sports centre, which offers various sports activities for visitors of all ages. There is also a dedicated beach volleyball court on the beach.

Thanks to its size, Spanzia Beach has plenty of space for various beach activities, and tourists can enjoy relaxing with a book in hand and taking a dip in the calm sea, but also have fun and try some of the sports activities. The beach can also be easily reached by car - from the main road between Argassi and Vassilikos there is a turn off down to Spiantza beach, and there is plenty of parking space.

There are several beautiful beaches in the area around Vassilikos. To the north, Spianza beach is adjacent to the picturesque sandy beaches of Porto Zoro and Porto Kaminia, which are ideal for relaxing and, thanks to the gradual entry into the sea and the sandy bottom, also for families with children. On the other hand, if you head south, you can visit one of the longest beaches on the island, the beautiful sandy Banana Beach, or the small and very nice sandy beach of Plaka.
