The beautiful sightseeing spot of Pikas is situated on the rocky coastline in the northeastern part of Zakynthos, just off the main road, about 21 km from the main town of Zante. From the high hill, you can see far and wide, to the north the rugged coastline of the island with its rocky outcrops and small coves, and to the south you can see the popular resorts of Alykes and Alykanas with their beautiful sandy beaches, which are just a stone's throw away. The local salt lake is also very visible.

Near the Pikas viewpoint is the so-called natural spa of Xigia, i.e. Xigia beach, which is specific for the presence of sulphur and mineral springs. There are several Xigia beaches in the area. We recommend combining a swim at Xigia beach with a stop at the Pikas viewpoint for a wonderful trip to the natural attractions of Zakynthos. On the other hand, to the south of the viewpoint are the beautiful and spacious sandy beaches of Alykes and Alykanas.
